Privacy Policy

1. Introduction & Overview

At IAMK Digital, we treat privacy, structural security, and data accessibility as foundational engineering principles. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, process, and safeguard your data when using our digital environment, diagnostics tools, and consulting services.

2. Data Collection & Telemetry

We collect direct input data from our connection forms (Name, Corporate Email, Technical Roadblocks, Project Details) as well as telemetry metrics (Lighthouse performance audit results, device viewport capabilities, and connection latency) to run system diagnostics and calibration reports.

3. Data Processing & Usage

All processed metrics are used strictly to evaluate technological maturity, resolve active performance roadblocks, optimize database response times, and provide custom IT roadmap blueprints. We do not use your data for automated advertising networks.

4. Infrastructure & Security Safeguards

Our digital systems are protected under strict CORS configurations, SSL encryption, and isolated database firewalls to prevent unauthorized external access. Inputs are fully sanitized to protect our data pipelines from injection vulnerabilities.

5. Compliance & User Rights

We adhere strictly to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia, alongside global best practices. You retain full rights to request access to, correction of, or complete deletion of your personal records at any time.

6. Social Media Pages & Assistant Tools

IAMK Digital runs public pages and accounts on Meta platforms (a Facebook Page and a Threads account). To publish and reply faster, we use software assistants built for our own use. This section explains what they do with personal data.

What the tools do

  • They help us draft posts and replies. A person at IAMK Digital reviews and approves every post and every reply before it is published. Nothing is published, liked or followed automatically.
  • They read public comments and replies on our own posts and Page so we can answer them.
  • They do not message anyone, do not read private messages, and do not collect information from people's profiles.

What data they handle

  • The public name or username of a person who comments on our posts or Page, the text of the comment, the link to it, and the time.
  • If a comment shows interest in our services (for example, asking for a price), we may save the person's public name or username and the comment in our private contact list so that we can follow up. We do not look for their email, phone number or other details unless they give them to us.
  • We do not collect data through Facebook Login or any login on our website for this purpose.

Why we use it

To reply to comments, to run and improve our Page, and to follow up on enquiries made to us. We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for advertising networks, and we do not build profiles of individuals.

Who processes it

  • Meta Platforms (Facebook and Threads), which provides the platforms and the connection that allows our tools to publish and to read comments on our own posts.
  • Google, whose AI service processes the text of a comment to help us draft a reply. Google Cloud / Firebase also stores our private contact list.
  • Telegram, which carries the drafts and comments to a private chat that only authorised IAMK Digital staff can see, so that a person can approve them.
  • Our web hosting provider Shinjiru Technology Sdn Bhd, where the tools run.

How long we keep it

Comment data used for replies and contacts saved as enquiries are kept until you ask us to delete them.

Your choices

You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time (see "7. Data Deletion" below). You can also delete your own comment on our Page or post yourself, or change who can comment on your own posts. Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you have rights of access and correction; see the rest of this policy for how to use them.

Each of these providers handles data under its own terms and privacy policy.

7. Data Deletion

To ask us to delete data we hold about you from these tools:

How to request deletion

  • Email privacy@iamkdigital.com with the subject "Delete my data".
  • Tell us your name or username as it appears on Facebook or Threads, and, if you can, the link to your comment. We will only use this to find your data and to confirm it is yours.
  • We will delete the comment data and any saved contact entry within 30 days and confirm by email.

Deleting data on our side does not remove your comment from Facebook or Threads; to remove the comment itself, delete it there. Data held by Meta, Google or Telegram is governed by their own policies and tools.
